Asep is a naive but overconfident village boy, challenged to find a decent job so that he can marry his beloved sweetheart, Lilis. Her father Abah Dading however, never agrees that his only daughter should marry Asep as his job is only ploughing other people's rice field and shepherding cows. Abah Dading want Lilis married with a college graduate as he believes her daughter will have a bright future. With that, Asep decides to go to the city to find a job but he has only three months to find a decent job as Lilis promised her father to marry her father's choice if Asep is unable to find a decent job. To make matters worse, Asep's roommate asks Asep to see a shaman and all things start to go wrong.
